Koko is a town in Adamawa State, Nigeria. It is the capital of the Koko Local Government Area. The town has a population of about 50,000 people and lies about 160 kilometres southeast of Damaturu and about 430 kilometres northeast of Abuja. The town has a number of tourist attractions, including Mount Mago National Park, which offers panoramic views over the surrounding area; Koko Falls, which are said to be one of Africa's most beautiful waterfalls; and Gwoza Forest Reserve, a dense forest that contains many wildlife species.
