Chocho azy is a small town in the Lubuskie Voivodeship of southwestern Poland. It has a population of 1,500 and an interesting history. The town was first mentioned in 1255 as a property of the Bishop of Krakow. A castle was built on the site in the 13th century, but it was destroyed by the Teutonic Knights during their invasion of Poland in 1241-42. In 1348, Chocho azy was granted to Rudolf von Habsburg, who later became Holy Roman Emperor.
