Lorain is home to Oberlin College, one of the Seven Sisters colleges and is an important transportation hub for Cleveland and its surrounding suburbs. The city has several parks and a number of museums including the John D. Rockefeller Memorial Museum and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame museum.
