Havelock is a small town located in the eastern part of the state of North Carolina. The town was founded in 1788 and has a population of just over 1,000. Havelock is home to several historic landmarks, including the Havelock County courthouse, which was built in 1892; the Mount Zion United Methodist Church, which was built in 1875; and the Havelock Presbyterian Church, which was built in 1889. In addition to its historical attractions, Havelock is also home to several galleries and businesses.
