Millis is a small town located in Hampshire County, Massachusetts. It was incorporated in 1798 and has a population of just over 10,000 people. The town is known for its maple syrup production and for its colonial architecture. Millis is also home to the Millis Historic District, which was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1988. The district includes more than 50 buildings that were built between 1797 and 1884. Some of the most notable buildings include the Millis Congregational Church, the Old South Meeting House, and the Hickory Hollow Schoolhouse.
