Douglass Hills is a small town located in Southern Illinois. The town has a population of about 1,500 people and it's located about 50 miles south of St. Louis. The town was founded in 1838 and it's named after the slave-owner, General Edward Douglass. The main attraction in the town is Douglass Hills Church which was built in 1892. Other attractions in the town include the Douglass Hills Cemetery, the Douglass Hills Grange Hall, and the Douglass Hills Golf Course.
