Valley Center is a picturesque small town in eastern California. The town was founded in 1876 and had a population of 3,000 people at the time of the 2010 census. It is located in Fresno County, about 20 miles south of Visalia. The town is known for its Victorian architecture and for having a large oak tree that is said to be over 1,000 years old. The tree has been designated a National Historic Landmark. Valley Center also has many historic buildings and monuments, including the Valley Center Town Hall which was built in 1902.
