Schofield Barracks is a military installation located in Honolulu, Hawaii. The barracks was named after General John Schofield who served in the Mexican-American War and the American Civil War. It was opened in 1901 and is the second oldest military reservation in the United States. The installation is home to the 25th Infantry Division and 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 10th Mountain Division. Schofield Barracks has a visitor center that offers tours of various areas of the installation.
