The Acreage is a small town in southwestern Oregon that has a lot to offer tourists. The town was founded in 1879 and boasts a number of interesting attractions, including the Acreage Historic District, which contains a number of historic buildings. The district was designated a National Historical Landmark in 1978. There are also several museums, including the Oregon Pioneer Museum and the Southwest Museum of Arts and Culture, both of which are worth visiting. The Acreage is also home to several scenic drives, including Highway 238 and Highway 242.
