Stonegate is a small town located in the northern part of West Virginia, United States. It is known for its antique stores, natural scenery and restaurants. The town was founded in 1876 and named after the stone gates that used to mark the entrance to an estate owned by one of the town's founders. The gates still stand and can be seen from Main Street.
