Lom is a town located in the southeastern region of Togo. The town is known for its traditional architecture, including the Lom Palace, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The palace was built by the Alaafin of Tonkawa in 1789 and is one of the few examples of an African palace that remains largely unchanged since its construction. Other attractions in Lom include the Kpalimukpo Hill, a sacred site where local spiritual leaders meet to perform religious ceremonies, and the Tomb of Emperor Yacouba.
