Lubo is a small town in the Lubuskie Voivodeship, in southwestern Poland. It has about 3,000 inhabitants and is located on the bank of the Warta River. The town was first mentioned in 1030 as Luba. Lubo is known for its medieval fortified monastery, which was built in the 13th century and later enlarged. The town also features a number of churches, including a Gothic basilica from the 14th century and another from the 15th century.
