Gjvik is a picturesque fishing village located in the municipality of Ringsaker in Hedmark county, Norway. The village is situated on the Møre og Romsdal coast, about 10 kilometers west of the town of Ringsaker. Gjvik has a population (2015) of 1,827. The village is home to Gjvik Church and the ruins of an old fortification called Brunnhuset. There are also beaches along the coast, rocky cliffs overlooking the sea, and several small lochs.
