K-Janggak is a small Kyrgyz town located in the Issyk Kul region of eastern Kyrgyzstan. The town is known for its mineral springs, which are said to have healing properties. K-Janggak also has an interesting history as it was the site of a major battle between Russian and Kyrgyz forces in 1919. Today, visitors to K-Janggak can see monuments commemorating both the Russian and Kyrgyz losses in that battle, as well as old churches and mosques.
