Cati is a small town and capital of the province of Bissau, located in Guinea-Bissau. The municipality has an area of 349.5 km² and had a population of 109,852 at the 2006 census. The town is built on two hills (the lower one being older), connected by a narrow ravine with a waterfall. It has a sixteenth century mosque and the colonial Catholic cathedral, both built in Portuguese style.
