Sulzbach is a town in the district of Offenburg, in Baden-Württemberg, Germany. It is located on the River Neckar, about 20 km southwest of Stuttgart and 10 km northeast of Offenburg. The town's name comes from Sulzbach Abbey, which was founded in 798 by Saint Boniface. The abbey was dissolved during the Reformation and its buildings were sold off. Today only a few ruins remain. Sulzbach has a population of about 10,000.
