Keshan is a small city in Jiangxi Province, China. It is located on the banks of the Xiang River, about 100 kilometers southwest of Nanjing. Keshan has a long history and numerous historical sites to see. The famous Buddhist temple Quanzhen Monastery, built in 614 AD, is particularly noteworthy. There are also several cave temples, including Pingyao Cave and Longmen Grottoes. The city's most popular attraction is the Red Pagoda Temple, built in 652 AD.
