Tay, located in the Municipality of Roddickton-On-Gordon on the Eastern Shore of Newfoundland is a small town with a big history. Tay was first settled by Europeans in 1690 and was originally named "New Dublin." The town was renamed "Tay" after the Scottish town of Tayport. Tay is home to the world's largest collection of moose antlers and has long been known for its sweet potatoes. In addition to its natural attractions, Tay is also home to two museums and several businesses that specialize in agriculture and fishing.
